Site Manager / Senior Operational Leadership
Are you an experienced Site Manager with a strong background in food manufacturing or FMCG? Do you have the leadership skills and commercial drive to manage a complex, multi-functional operation, bringing together manufacturing, packing and people to deliver outstanding results?
We are looking for an accomplished Site Manager to take full responsibility leading the business from management through to manufacturing, packing, dispatch and customer delivery.

The Role
Reporting into senior management, you will have end-to-end accountability for site performance, ensuring operational, commercial and customer objectives are consistently achieved.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Operational Leadership: Lead the operations, delivering productivity, efficiency, quality, cost and customer service targets.
- Manufacturing Centre: Manage processing, packing, storage and dispatch, maximising throughput, labour efficiency and operational performance.
- People Management: Lead, develop and motivate management teams, building capability through coaching, training, succession planning and multi-skilling.
- Quality & Compliance: Ensure compliance with food safety legislation, environmental permits and customer codes of practice.
- Health & Safety: Champion a proactive safety culture, ensuring robust standards and procedures across the entire site.
- Commercial Performance: Take ownership of budgets, resource planning and cost control, driving efficiency and profitability.
- Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities to improve processes, performance and ways of working, embedding a culture of operational excellence.
- Audits & Customer Standards: Lead and support internal, external, customer and regulatory audits, ensuring standards are consistently maintained.
About You
You will be an experienced operational leader with the ability to manage a complex site and balance the demands of production, people, quality and commercial performance.
Ideally, you will bring:
- Proven experience in a senior site management or operational leadership role within food manufacturing, FMCG or a related environment.
- Experience managing multi-functional teams and developing strong management capability.
- A good understanding of production, processing, packing and operational performance.
- Knowledge of food safety, quality management, health & safety and regulatory compliance.
- The ability to manage budgets, control costs and deliver against challenging KPIs.
- A continuous improvement mindset, with a track record of driving efficiencies and improving performance.
- Strong leadership, communication and stakeholder management skills.
- A genuine commitment to animal welfare, food safety and high operational standards.
