The Role
As Head of S&OP, you will sit at the heart of the business, connecting commercial strategy with operational execution. Partnering closely with Sales, Marketing, Finance and Supply Chain, you will ensure demand, supply and inventory plans support ambitious growth targets while maintaining best-in-class customer service. This is a highly visible leadership role requiring strong cross-functional influence, strategic thinking and a passion for turning data-driven insights into business performance.
The ideal fit
- Experience within FMCG supply chain planning, covering demand planning, supply planning and production planning.
- Proven experience leading and embedding a Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) process within a complex, fast-paced business.
- Strong understanding of key planning metrics, including forecast accuracy, OTIF, inventory management and waste reduction.
- Demonstrated success in balancing customer demand, supply capability and inventory requirements to deliver service, cost and cash objectives.
- Experience leading medium to long-term planning, including capacity planning, risk management and scenario modelling.
- Strong people leadership skills with a track record of building, developing and motivating high-performing teams.
- Excellent stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence senior leaders across Commercial, Finance, Marketing and Supply Chain functions.
- Highly analytical and data-driven, with the ability to turn insight into clear actions and business decisions.
- Proven track record of driving continuous improvement across processes, systems and ways of working.
- Strong communication and presentation skills, with the confidence and credibility to lead cross-functional planning discussions.
Location: Hybrid. 3 days in London HQ.
Salary: Up to £100,000, plus benefits package.
