Finance Manager (Part-Time | 3–4 Days Per Week) Waltham Abbey
£80,000 FTE | Private Office Environment (Pro rate circa £65,000 based on 3.5 days per week)
We're supporting a successful entrepreneur in the search for a Finance Manager to oversee the finances across a small portfolio of established businesses.
This is a unique opportunity for someone who enjoys working closely with business owners and wants to play a key role in both the day-to-day running and future growth of a group of businesses. Rather than being another cog in a large finance team, you'll have genuine ownership, visibility, and influence.
The role will see you taking responsibility for management accounts, cashflow forecasting, financial reporting, compliance, and commercial analysis across multiple entities. You'll be the trusted finance partner to the business owner, helping to support strategic decisions while ensuring the financial operation runs smoothly.
We're looking for a qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent) with previous Finance Manager experience. Experience working within SMEs, owner-managed businesses, or entrepreneurial environments would be highly beneficial. Just as important is having the confidence to work independently, challenge where appropriate, and provide clear commercial insight.
