The Role
As Commercial Manager (Implant) you’ll act as the bridge between customer briefs, creative concepts and technical delivery, helping to transform ideas into high-quality, commercially viable solutions. This is an exciting opportunity for a technically minded commercial professional to play a key role in supporting the growth of a leading beauty-focused business partnering with some of the most recognisable names in the industry. Working closely with customers, sales teams and international development offices, you’ll use your technical expertise, commercial awareness and relationship-building skills to develop proposals, challenge factory recommendations, support negotiations and ensure projects are delivered in line with client expectations around quality, timing and budget. This is a highly customer-facing role suited to someone who understands beauty merchandising, manufacturing or POS environments and enjoys bringing innovative, practical solutions to life.
The ideal fit
- Previous experience in beauty POS, merchandising, display, manufacturing or multi-material product environments.
- Strong understanding of technical sales support, with the ability to translate customer briefs into practical, commercially viable solutions.
- Confident working with customers, sales teams, factories and international development teams to move projects from concept through to delivery.
- Able to interpret technical drawings, construction proposals, materials and production capabilities.
- Commercially aware, with the ability to balance client expectations around design, quality, timing, budget and feasibility.
- Experience supporting proposals, pricing discussions, negotiations and technical presentations.
- Strong project coordination skills, with the ability to manage multiple stakeholders across development, quality, logistics and sales.
- Proactive, solutions-focused and confident challenging factory recommendations to ensure the final result matches the customer brief.
- A genuine interest in the beauty industry, with an understanding of how premium brands bring products and experiences to life.
Salary: Up to £55k, plus benefits package.
Location: Hybrid. 2 days in Midland’s customer, including 1 day per week at the NW HQ.
